Our core facilitators provide consistent, person-centred group and one-to-one activities, becoming familiar, trusted faces within your home. They build meaningful relationships with residents, adapt sessions to different needs and abilities, and ensure continuity of provision, with built-in cover for sickness and holidays so your activity programme remains reliable and uninterrupted.

Alongside our core team, you have access to a network of specialist practitioners, including Music Therapists and Community Music Leaders, Reminiscence and Life Story Practitioners, Chair-Based Exercise Instructors, Sensory Therapy Practitioners, Creative Arts Facilitators, Dance and Movement Therapists, Intergenerational Project Coordinators, Wellbeing and Mindfulness Practitioners, Horticultural Therapists and Spiritual Care or Chaplaincy Activity Leads. This allows residents to benefit from a broader range of expertise and a richer, more stimulating programme than one in-house role alone could provide.

Our service can be tailored to meet your home’s specific needs, whether you require short-term cover during recruitment or absence, part-time support alongside an existing coordinator, specialist days, or a full replacement for an in-house Activities Coordinator. We work with your budget and staffing structure to design a model that offers consistency, resilience and value.

We believe strong partnerships are built on communication. We provide regular check-ins with management and activity leads to review how sessions are running, gather feedback, adjust programmes, and ensure the service continues to meet residents’ needs and your home’s priorities.

Golden Connections supports you with inspection-ready evidence, including activity plans, attendance records, outcome summaries and wellbeing impact notes. Our work aligns with Care Inspectorate quality themes, helping you clearly demonstrate how activities contribute to residents’ quality of life, emotional wellbeing and social connection.

We also deliver themed weeks and one-off events, such as seasonal celebrations, cultural days, community visits and special interest programmes. These add variety and excitement to the activity calendar, create shared experiences for residents and families, and offer memorable moments that enhance life in the home.
